About KamiZenma
KamiZenma was born from a deep reflex, but also from a desire to learn about the meaning of life, my own life, and also from a search for balance in this world that is often chaotic. The name reflects two essential principles that guide me and that I find cool: Kami, Zen and ma for Zeima which is my pseudonym.
Kami represents the spirit, the divinity in the Shinto tradition (example: Amaterasu). For me, it's this divine essence that inhabits nature, living beings, and even everyday objects. The Kami reminds us that every moment and every experience has a sacred dimension, which deserves all the attention we give it.
As a Buddhist, this philosophy touches me in a particular way even though it is distinguished from Buddhism. It gives a certain depth, a new perspective to consider even if you're not Shinto. Buddhism offers us universal truths: The impermanence of everything, compassion for all beings, and the path to liberation from suffering. It pushes us to see beyond appearances, beyond what we can imagine, and to understand that everything is connected and to cultivate wisdom by observing the life around us.
Zen teaches us the art of being present, meditating, and living simply. A practice that brings us back to the present moment, the one that teaches us to observe our thoughts without judgment and to find a form of inner peace even when what's around us... By combining these two things, it gives Kamizen and it takes on its full meaning, a space to reflect and share a serene life.
It's like a logbook, my logbook on this constant quest for inner peace that allows me to be "a super human". Here, I will talk a lot about meditation, reflection on life, Buddhism, Shinto, but also about minimalism and our personal development.
It's like a garden, where I will plant seeds that could make ideas and advice bloom for you. Take a good tea and let's meditate on the little things that could do us good.
